Bubble Wrap Reflective Insulation

EnergyAttic TempShield™ is used as insulation against radiant heat transfer and is excellent for situations where radiation is the predominant source of heat transfer. Its bright aluminum surface gives it its insulating properties. It reflects up to 97% of all radiant heat. It reradiates only 3% of heat that comes close to it, compared to about 90% reradiation of ordinary building materials at the same temperature.

EnergyAttic Radiant Barrier Tempshield™ Reflective Insulation is an energy efficient alternative to conventional insulation. This thin, lightweight, durable, puncture resistant, and pliable product reflects 97% of radiant energy and resists other types of heat transfer. It reduces radiant heat transfer more significantly than conventional insulation.

This insulation product, which is made of one or two layers of barrier bubble material laminated between layers of aluminum foil, provides an effective barrier against moisture, vapors, and air currents. It also resists fungus growth and deters insects and rodent nesting.

Installing EnergyAttic Radiant Barrier Tempshield Reflective Insulation is simple and quick. This non-toxic, fire-retardant product made of 20% recycled plastic is flexible and easily fits into complex shapes.

EnergyAttic TempShield™ Single Bubble Foil/Foil Insulation

This clean, lightweight, easy to install material, can be used as a wrap for hot water heaters, pipes, metal and commercial buildings, stud walls, roofing systems, basements and crawl spaces. This reflective insulation has one layer of 5/32" barrier bubble film laminated between two layers of foil. It may be used as a vapor retardant and when reflectivity and R factors are required.

EnergyAttic TempShield™ Single Bubble White/Foil

EnergyAttic TempShield™ Single Bubble White/Foil is designed to be used for commercial or metal buildings where aesthetics is of primary importance. It is made of one layer of 5/32" barrier bubble film laminated between one layer of foil and one layer of white polyethylene. It is perfect for water heater jackets, metal pipes, and temperature-sensitive packaging applications. It can be installed in a concrete slab application because it acts as a vapor retarder and it provides a thermal break. This clean, lightweight, easy to install material saves energy and money.

EnergyAttic TempShield™ Double Bubble Foil/Foil Insulation is used for water heater, metal and commercial buildings, stud walls, roofing systems, basements, and crawl spaces where reflectivity and higher R factors are required. It is vapor retardant. It is made of two layers of 5/32" barrier bubble film laminated between two layers of foil. It is clean, lightweight, easy to install. Thermal resistance measurements have been made according to the most recent test revisions using a calibrated hot box operated in accordance with ASTM C 976. Analysis of results was done in accordance in ASTM C 1224. The R-values observed are highly dependent on method of installation.
